superb starling

A bird of equality with hints of blue and orange feathers--
soaring while whistling and creating attention.
At times, the scream so piercing, it has the ability to stop
passersby's who gawk in amazement.
Migrating from place to place with little attachment
as the wind strokes the body creating peace.
Envy fills the souls of those who want to fly,
but realizing their wings were brutally clipped.
They reside in a cage, being analyzed by society
and are forced to create their nest in one place.
Hopelessly staring through the bars of the cage at those birds
who are able to fly away.
